The ninth child of Jude W. and Marie Catherine (Sharrai) Bourassa was Jacob Daniel Bourassa born on the Bourassa Farm on Mill Creek in what became Maple Hill Township, Wabaunsee County, Kansas on June 25, 1849. It is not known how long the baby lived, but he died and was buried in 1849. The location of his burial has been been recorded.
