Here’s another photograph from 2002. No its not the judges for the Kansas Pork Producer’s Show—it’s half of the Maple Hill High School Class of 1962. There were 5 boys and 5 girls graduating in 1962 and as I recall, we all started the first grade (Maple Hill didn’t have Kindergarten at that time) together. I am at the end of the group on the right, although I am the youngest. I started to First Grade when I was five-years-old. Mae Crayton, our third and fourth grade teacher, would be happy to see I have properly used the hyphens between those three words 🙂
