I have today, created a Facebook page for those who are interested in or have played some role in the history and people who have lived, worked, or visited Maple Hill, Kansas.

It is more than just a page for history, history is created in an instant during the present. I hopeful that those who wish to post information about community events of any kind, will also feel free to post their information and photographs.

As many of you know, I have been interested in Maple Hill History for more than 50 years. I have written about Maple Hill in various ways and places and I have often felt that there must be many others would would like to contribute as well. I envision this Facebook page as being a way that many of you will have the opportunity to share and discuss Maple Hill.

This is a public forum. I have certainly made mistakes over the years and I would very much like to have information from others that contradicts what I have been written—so long as you believe it to be true. Perhaps working with others on this site, we will be able to arrive at “truth.”

So with no further ado, let us begin what I hope will be an incredibly rewarding and enjoying adventure. Long live Maple hill, Kansas and its people
