How many remember Rev. W. E. Dull, who was pastor of Maple Hill Community Congregational Church during the 1960s. He was very hard working and well respected. He retired from the Seaman Congregational Church and then began work at Maple Hill. I spent a lot of time with Rev. Dull. He wrote the news for the church newsletter and then I transcribed and transferred it to a stencil and helped him run the newletters off. His wife’s name was Mattie and together they made calls on nearly all of the people in Maple Hill Township. I would go along and provide directions and names for the people he wanted to visit. I believe that was in 1961, but it could have been 1960. I took this photograph at Camp Washunga, where our Maple Hill youth went to summer camp.
